Currently the Science On A Postcard Etsy shop is running as normal. I am using Royal Mail click and drop to buy postage online, and then popping all of the orders in my local postbox on my daily walk to make sure I am minimising social contact as far as possible. Currently, Royal Mail remains open for business as usual, though they are understandably experiencing some delays as a result of staff shortages due to sickness and/or isolation.
Please bear with me through this very strange period – I really appreciate your support, and will do my best to make sure that your order reaches you in good time.
From time to time the pins that we receive from our manufacturers are a little less than perfect – these are called ‘seconds’. They have minor defects; maybe the enamel isn’t quite level, or the enamel has leaked slightly from the border – small defects that make them less than perfect.
These pins are perfect for backpacks and places where they might get bashed around anyway!
Scroll through the variations to see if we have your chosen pin in stock, or alternatively select *Surprise Me* and we’ll do just that.. you won’t know what you’ll get until your order is delivered. All of the pins in the current Science On A Postcard range are currently up for grabs in our seconds pile – so you might get ‘Always Explore’, ‘Scientist’, ‘Mathematician’, ‘David Attenborough’, ‘Themes Do Not Emerge!’ or any of the other pins you currently see online.
Sizes and colours vary, but all pins come complete with ‘Science On A Postcard’ backing.
These pins are “seconds” quality, meaning they are not quite perfect and have varying flaws. These flaws are minor and do not affect the functionality of the pin in any way.
The majority of these pins have minor issues with enamel – underfilling, overfilling or small blemished embedded in the enamel. All sales are final with seconds quality.
See what else we’re up to..
